VP, Human Resources

The Vice President of Human Resources Americas will have responsibility for the human resources functions within the geography, including the United States and Latin America and related staff.  This individual will be responsible for working with HR, Operations, and other teams to develop human resources plans, policies and programs for their assigned division/region that are aligned with the global direction and growth strategies for the company as a whole. 

Working within the global framework, this individual will provide day-to-day, hands-on management and implementation of all human resources functions within their division/region. These include organizational development, employee relations and communications, staffing and recruitment, training and professional development, performance management, compensation and benefits, policies, and employment practices, championing our culture and compliance.

The Vice President of Human Resources Americas will be expected to work closely with divisional/regional senior management providing proactive advice, coaching and support regarding the human resources component of decisions and initiatives that are in support of and consistent with the overall HR strategy for the company globally. Of critical importance will be ensuring that human resources practices and policies align with the growth strategy and help prepare the company for further expansion.

In this role you will:

Plan, direct and carry out policies relating to all phases of the employee lifecycle within their division/region.

Develops, implements, and oversees a full range of employee related policies, programs, practices, and services to ResultsCX employees within the assigned division/region, including:

  • Serving as a visible role model and champion of our company culture
  • Employee handbook, complete with appropriate policies and conditions of employment
  • Employee Relations
  • Compensation & Payroll
  • Employee Benefits
  • New employee orientation process
  • Employee Engagement and Retention
  • Exit interview/termination process
  • Performance management process
  • EEO/AA and all other required policy and programs
  • HR Compliance

Work with the senior leadership of the division/region to continually align human resources programs to support the company’s overall business strategy. 

Continually assess the employee relations climate throughout the division/region.  Develop employee relations programs designed to ensure awareness of the leadership’s goals and priorities.

Lead the division/region’s staffing and recruiting efforts to assure the hiring of top talent.

Understand the competitive landscape and recommend changes and improvements to increase the effectiveness of compensation and benefit programs in retaining and motivating employees in a manner which is aligned with the Company’s strategies and consistent with profitability objectives.  Ensure that the ongoing administration of compensation and benefits are handled in the most cost-effective way.

Educate divisional /regional management and supervisory personnel on techniques for attracting, selecting and developing the best employees.

Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork among company employees that promotes individual growth, creates a strong sense of community, rewards innovation and performance, and builds on the company’s culture and competitive advantages.

Ensure the division/regions compliance with company policy, process and procedures. Ensure division/regional management is trained to uniformly apply these corporate guidelines.

Stay current on all relevant federal and state employment laws and ensure Results is in compliance at all times.

We are looking for someone who has:
  • Credentials & Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree required (PHR or SPHR preferred)
    • 10 - 15+ years of experience in Human Resources in both the United States and Latin America with a proven track record of “hands-on” leading an HR function; desired experience in leading a business team
    • Experience within the BPO industry strongly preferred.  
    • Experience as a senior HR professional supporting a business unit including experience serving as an advisor to the leadership team
    • Experience in managing a remote team of HR professionals
    • Ability to travel up to 25% to implement strategic HR initiatives
  • Skills:
    • Breadth of experience across all facets of HR; knowledgeable in HR systems, talent development, compensation & benefits, culture and compliance
    • Ability to generate credibility for the HR function through leadership skills
    • Change management expertise in design and implementation of large-scale workforce change.
    • Excellent communications and organizational skills
    • Executive presence with a strong demonstration of emotional maturity and capability to innovate solutions, re-engineer processes.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and multiple deadlines; execution focused
    • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership skills across international business teams
