The Accountant will be reporting under the Controllership team and will handle various duties such as maintaining general ledger, reviewing and reconciling of accounts and assisting in audits.

In this role you will:
  • Maintain the general ledger, financial records, and reports
  • Prepare journal entries such as bank transactions and month end accruals etc.
  • Review and reconcile account balances including preparation of balance sheet schedules; propose adjusting entries if needed
  • Coordinate with other departments on processes and transactions to ensure these are properly captured for financial reporting
  • Assist the Finance department with concerns related to financial reporting
  • Prepare reports needed for the weekly fund requests
  • Handle requirements requested by internal and external audits
  • Coordinate processing with other departments to deliver services in conformance with established guidelines
  • Inform concerned parties regarding required documentations and/or procedures to convey information necessary to complete transactions
  • Compile a wide variety of financial reports, files, and records for audit purposes
  • Ensure resources efficiency
  • Meet operational requirements
  • Analyze and evaluates procedures. Recommends process improvements
We are looking for someone who:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business/Finance or any related field
  • 2+ years of experience in General Accounting, General Ledger, Account Reconciliation
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Solid ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong ability to exercise discretion and interact effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent Proficiency with Microsoft Office
