Position Overview
  • Ensure that all training needs are consistently met for all assigned new hire classes
  • Support the development and certification of Training Professionals by leading client- and Global required training.
  • Use Results standard processes and methodology to evaluate learning effectiveness  through a program of regular observation of Training Professionals and through reviewing their performance data.
  • Provide reporting on training completion and performance.
  • Work collaboratively with other Virtual operations teams to develop training solutions and projects identified through evaluation, observation or other data gathering process..
  • Conduct and attends regular meetings with site level training staff.
  • Participate in client meetings and calibration sessions, monitor calls randomly to evaluate agent performance, as needed.
  • Lead or participate in other efforts as assigned by Results Home Office  Operations Leaders.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Training, Social Sciences, Organizational Behavior or related field or equivalent industry experience may be substituted for degree.
  • A minimum of three years of successful experience leading training teams with hands on employee/ adult training, online training a plus
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • A well-developed understanding of Adult Learning Theories and generational strategies.
  • The ability to lead teams and measure individual performance
  • Excellent consulting skills including critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, influencing, judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to creatively use resources and adjust to changes quickly and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but also in a team environment
  • Strong computer and software skills; proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Project Management skills.
Position Requirements
  • Ability to identify individual engagement levels through active listening, targeted questioning techniques and real time observation of trainee behaviors
  • Ability to effectively determine what each trainee has learned, adjust training techniques to meet individual needs and motivate trainees to develop new knowledge into skills
  • Ability to create an environment conducive to practicing new behaviors and assess whether new skills are being formed from learned knowledge
  • Ability to determine whether the expected skills will result in tangible results in operations, measured through speed to proficiency, metric performance and agent retention

  • A minimum of one year successful and progressively responsible experience leading training organizations
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

Preferred
  • Experience in training leadership and supporting multiple programs is highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education and Training, Social Sciences, Organizational Behavior or related field. Extensive industry experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and / or authoring tools is highly desired but not a requirement

The Manager, Training works to ensure that Training needs are consistent within Results Home Office training team and is responsible for the virtual Trainers effectiveness  in presentation of training materials, processes and procedures for our virtual team of Customer Service Associates. The Manager, Training will as participate in active training sessions.
