Manager, Learning and Development

The Manager, Learning and Development will play a critical role in the day-to-day learning and development activities necessary for leadership selection and development. Responsible for the analysis, scope, design/development, coordination/delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of leadership selection and development programs, products, tools, and strategies through a collaborative partnership with assigned functional areas and leaders to drive leadership excellence. Aligned to specific assigned projects/programs as a resource and representative globally.

In this role you will:
  • Evaluate individual and organizational leadership selection and leadership development needs.
  • Develop and implement a learning strategy and programs that are aligned with the organization’s objectives for leadership selection and leadership development.
  • Embrace and implement various types of leadership training.
  • Design, produce, and deliver leadership training materials, including e-learning courses and workshops.
  • Assess the success of the leadership selection and leadership development programs and modifies where necessary.
  • Implement various learning methods as applicable to each project.
  • Collaborate effectively with other relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies specific to leadership selection and leadership development.
  • Prioritize workload and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced ever changing environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability according to the changing needs and prioritizations of the organization.
  • Facilitate and/or participate in virtual and/or in-person working sessions, workshops, and training classes, as needed.
  • Lead cross functional projects and building strong positive relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
We are looking for someone who has:
  • Experience with Operations (Site, Account and/or People) at least Manager level or above.  2 years within the BPO industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in Learning Development and/or Talent Development and/or Employee Engagement and/or Customer Experience and/or Training.
  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in one of these areas and/or in Business Management desired.
  • Proven leadership skills in coaching, leading and building strong teams of at least 3+ individuals.
  • Preferred candidate will have experience with business process design/improvement and project management, including gathering requirements, documenting workflows, and developing specifications.
  • Knowledge on Adult Learning Principles, TNA, Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Training Evaluation, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Instructional Methodologies.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and learning management systems.
