Our Internal Communications Specialist acts as the voice of ResultsCX with all our employees to ensure timely and accurate communications that helps to foster the values of ResultsCX. As our Internal Communications Specialist you will be responsible for creating strategic communications and managing multiple communication platforms to engage employees across the organization. To ensure the right communication deploys to the right employees at the right time, our Internal Communications Specialist will use several channels including our HRIS platform (Ceridian Dayforce), email, Teams, SharePoint, events, newsletters, and other communication vehicles.
Working closely with leaders across the organization, our Internal Communications Specialist helps to establish our communications, strategy, and messaging for our internal employees.

Writing skills: You need excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.
Speaking skills: You also need strong speaking skills as you are likely to be called on to give presentations to staff. Internal communications specialists need sensitivity to an organization’s goals and values and the ability to relay them to employees.
Interpersonal skills: You need good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work cross functionally. You also need to possess the confidence to deal with senior executives and explain communication techniques to them. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with various departments that are located all over the world. You will be working closely with a fully remote design team and will need to be able to guide them to create materials that are on brand and fit with our new, modern style.
Creative skills: You need the creative ability to devise communication strategies. Bring your best ideas forward.
Digital skills: Familiarity with and experience using digital and video communication tools is essential.
Proactive: You will need to be assertive in recognizing and monitoring internal and external news to determine where communications are needed, whether requested or not. You will need to be a self-starter and able to scope requests fully while also providing your own recommendations and suggestions.
Flexible: You will need to be agile with the needs and potential urgency of the business to get accurate and timely communication out to the right employees at the right time. You will also need to be resilient and persevere to adapt to the changes in direction and/or timeline for the requests and programs you support.
Collaborative: You will need to work with multiple departments, cultures, and positions. Understanding your audience, working together as a team, and setting clear expectations of responsibilities (along with the necessary follow-up) will be key.
